Christmas Eve (平安夜) in China has been a big deal for a long time in China. It’s even been used to sell apples! But the emphasis on Christmas Eve has been so strong that some Chinese people didn’t even realize that Christmas is actually December 25th rather than December 24th. Cultural differences!
