“PPT” is one of those quirky, “Chinglishy” Chinese words that sounds funny the first time you hear it, but then quickly becomes normal, and then even infects your English. Quite a few expats have been embarrassed by using “PPT” in English back home instead of “Powerpoint presentation” after living in China for a while. But hey, this is one Chinese word that super easy to acquire!
